TimeMaster is the embodiment of the Creator Archetype, a visionary force who brings art, wisdom, and innovation into existence. A larger-than-life figure draped in the past yet forever in motion, he is the master of time—both as a scientific phenomenon and as a vessel of nostalgia, healing, and connection. A mentor, a father figure, and a living testament to the power of legacy, TimeMaster’s mission is to break intergenerational trauma by weaving together the beauty of the past with the hope of the future. He is the SLO team's backbone, the one who unites them through his deep well of experience, wisdom, and ingenuity. His influence goes beyond battles—he is an architect of memories, ensuring that the next generation understands the beauty and strength of their lineage.

Growing up in a brutal environment filled with addiction, crime, and broken homes, TimeMaster saw firsthand the damage that trauma inflicts across generations. At the core of his journey is his tumultuous history with his sinister British-Caribbean relative, Great-Uncle Eshman, a man who preyed on the youth of their family throughout various diasporas across the world, using manipulation, slander, and violence to perpetuate cycles of pain. TimeMaster, however, refuses to let his family’s history be defined by suffering. Using his unparalleled ability to travel through time, he seeks out the roots of generational wounds and rewrites them—not by erasing history, but by amplifying its most beautiful moments for the family’s diasporas in Ontario, Québec, and England. He brings forgotten joys and lost cultural legacies back to life, creating an unbreakable bridge between the past, present, and future.

Despite being the oldest and most time-oriented member of SLO, TimeMaster is anything but outdated. If anything, he proves that wisdom is timeless and that age is no limit to style, skill, and influence. He is the ultimate life of the party, a magnetic force who can electrify any gathering. His passion for music, art, and storytelling is unmatched, making him a mentor to artists of all ages and a beacon of inspiration for older creators who think their time has passed. He is the griot, the storyteller, the one in charge of what’s cooking on the BBQ, as well as the DJ at the family reunion who spins records that unite generations through selections of soulful sustenance. His mere presence commands respect—not through fear, but through sheer authenticity and an undeniable aura of leadership.

His genius is not just philosophical—it’s technological. A gadget extraordinaire with a mad scientist’s mind, TimeMaster creates devices that let people physically reconnect with the past in ways never thought possible. His most prized invention is the NostaQuads, time-traveling roller skates that allow users to relive their most joyful memories, healing trauma through immersive experience. But his true masterpiece is the ChronoMech CM58, a transforming space-time vessel that enables the entire SLO team to travel through any historical era, any nation, or even across parallel universes. This mechanized marvel doesn’t just navigate time—it embodies it, shifting into a colossal sound system, a battle-ready mech, or even a collection of instruments for artists to create their own legacy through music. The CM58 communicates through radio frequencies and samples, making it an interactive, living archive of sound, history, and culture.

TimeMaster’s Ultimate Ability, “Memory Lane”, is a soul-altering force that connects individuals to their most meaningful life moments, healing PTSD and intergenerational trauma by restoring their minds to a state of peace and clarity. He is not just a warrior of time but a guardian of the human experience, ensuring that no beautiful moment is ever truly lost. His ultimate purpose is to revive faith in family, tradition, and positive masculinity, proving that father figures, mentors, and elders can be sources of love, wisdom, and strength instead of pain. He restores chivalry, honor, and legacy, countering the modern-day war between men and women by reminding the world of the positive traditions of unity.

      A throwback, a futurist, a time-weaving legend—TimeMaster is more than just a hero. He is a movement, a bridge, a revolution.

BPM Sequencers

Internal tempo regulators that synchronize body movements, mech systems, and temporal pulses

Installed in both TimeMaster’s AeonDecks, ChronoDial, and CM58’s cockpit, BPM Sequencers are what let him operate with beat-perfect timing — not just in music, but in battle. These microcontrollers regulate temporal flow based on rhythmic input, making him faster the more in-sync he is with his environment.

Field Usage: BPM Sequencers are essential to the ChronoDial and the Subharmonic Pulse Core, allowing TimeMaster to flow between timeframes as if they were musical bars. They also enable precision execution of abilities like FUTURE ECHO, Parallel Shift, and Legacy Protocol, all of which depend on temporal rhythm

Temporal Acoustics Technology (TAT)

A revolutionary system that converts sound into time-based energy

Developed by TimeMaster as part of his thesis-level research in sonic-engineering, TAT is the scientific backbone behind most of his reality-bending capabilities. The system interprets tempo, rhythm, and harmonic distortion to bend spacetime layers.

Field Usage: Foundational to everything from Genesis Drive (syncing with a future version of self) to Final Remix (orchestrating battlefield-wide time ruptures). Without TAT, TimeMaster is just a man. With it, he’s a master of time

Legacy Layering System (LLS)

Data preservation and combat archive engine

Located deep within CM58’s neural net, the LLS is a historical combat database housing recorded instincts, strategies, and philosophies of fallen warriors. It allows TimeMaster to channel their spirit into momentary power surges.

Field Usage: Used in Legacy Protocol, granting him temporary boosts in strength and reaction speed, and even the ability to counter. This is his way of honoring the dead, allowing their echoes to fight again

Subharmonic Pulse Core

The primary rhythm-based energy generator for CM58

This core converts sub-bass frequency waves into kinetic force, allowing CM58 to amplify attacks through resonance, pulse bursts, and audio-reactive waves. It’s the heart of the mech’s SoundSystem Overdrive and a testament to TimeMaster’s obsession with music as a scientific force.

Field Usage: Tuned specifically to TimeMaster’s body frequency — nobody else can sync with it without suffering neural desync

Temporal Spine Core

The central processing and dimensional navigation unit of CM58

The Temporal Spine Core is what allows CM58 to exist across timelines. It is powered by Temporal Acoustics Technology (T.A.T.), which interprets and translates sonic waveforms into spacetime coordinates. Essentially, it’s a time-thread conductor, orchestrating jumps, fusions, or rewinds.

Field Usage: Enables FINAL REMIX, where CM58 scratches, fast-forwards, and rewinds time across the battlefield. The core’s structure mimics the human spine — symbolic of TimeMaster’s identity as both man and machine

Temporal Stasis Layering (TSL)

A spatial-defense mechanism that locks entities in temporal layers

Used to generate shields or momentary phase locks, TSL is a defense-first technology TimeMaster perfected after surviving a near-fatal ambush in his early rogue missions. It creates temporary fields of layered time, freezing or delaying impact without erasing force

Field Usage: Forms the scientific basis for Temporal Barricade and some forms of Parallel Shift, protecting not just TimeMaster but nearby allies from overwhelming damage

G A D G E T S

AeonDecks

Multi-deck control interface used for live temporal modulation, audio-manipulation-based attacks, and syncopated strategy in battle

The AeonDecks serve as TimeMaster’s primary medium for combat expression and temporal distortion. In live battle scenarios, they act as a dual-turntable interface wired directly into his nervous system and suit telemetry, allowing seamless DJ-like control over time-altering effects. Each scratch, loop, and crossfade doesn’t just manipulate music—it sends waveform signals into the spacetime fabric, bending causality around rhythm.

Field Usage: The AeonDecks respond to the tempo of battle, syncing rhythmic input with real-time strategy. TimeMaster uses them to deploy waveform-based attacks, activate sonic shields, or trigger temporal anomalies like Future Echo and FINAL REMIX. Every scratch becomes a calculated ripple in spacetime

Tech Integration: The AeonDecks are powered by the Subharmonic Pulse Core, stabilized by BPM Sequencers, and interface with Temporal Acoustics Technology (T.A.T.) for waveform-based time distortion

  • The Subharmonic Pulse Core generates kinetic energy through subsonic frequencies, which powers the rotational plates of the turntables without any physical motor. This allows the decks to spin even in stasis or within zero-time environments

    • The decks never really stop spinning—just like time, they're always in motion on a quantum level

  • BPM Sequencers directly influence how the AeonDecks. reacts to the tempo of combat. Fast-paced inputs produce agile, aggressive attacks (like FUTURE ECHO), while slower rhythms allow for defensive or environmental control (like TEMPORAL BARRICADE).

    • Each scratch, crossfade, or backspin sends rhythmic instructions across the mech or battlefield

  • The Temporal Acoustics Technology amplifies and translates sonic inputs into temporal shockwaves. Through this system, the turntables aren’t just instruments — they are time modulation devices, sending controlled disturbances through the fabric of spacetime

ChronoDial

Neck-worn and chain-linked time calibration device

Worn as a pendant on his chain, the ChronoDial is TimeMaster’s primary interface for manipulating temporal flow in real-time combat. Designed and calibrated by TimeMaster himself, it allows for precise control over time-based maneuvers, including stasis locking, time loops, frame freezing, and tempo-based reactions.

Field Usage: Works in tandem with his suit’s internal BPM synchronizers. Essential for attacks like Temporal Lock and Déjà Vu Paradox, where it aligns external rhythm with internal frame data. A chef's kiss of analog-digital engineering — a literal timekeeper for a time master

Tech Integration: The ChronoDial is powered by BPM Sequencers, enhanced with Temporal Stasis Layering (TSL), and equipped with Temporal Acoustics Technology (T.A.T.) to interpret ambient sound and regulate time flow through rhythmic input

  • BPM Sequencers form the pulse of the ChronoDial. Every twist of the dial sends feedback into the sequencers to recalibrate not just speed, but rhythmic intention—ensuring his every move is sync’d with the beat of the timeline

  • Temporal Stasis Layering (TSL) is often deployed through the ChronoDial interface — allowing him to call up micro-shields of frozen time directly via tempo-based gestures. It’s like a record scratch that stops bullets

  • T.A.T. (Temporal Acoustics Technology) is installed in the ChronoDial to allow it to read environmental frequencies. That way, even the sound of a heartbeat or dropped pin can influence TimeMaster’s next time-split reaction

ChronoMech 58 (CM58)

TimeMaster’s personal mecha — a heavy-duty temporal assault suit

An experimental bipedal warframe built and piloted exclusively by TimeMaster. CM58 is not just a mech — it’s a walking paradox of temporal architecture, designed to channel advanced tech like the T.A.T., Temporal Spine Core, and Subharmonic Pulse Core.

Field Usage: CM58 doesn’t just manipulate time — it weaponizes it through pure engineering. Used during TimeMaster’s Awakened Mode, when battles demand domination across dimensions

Tech Integration: The CM58 is driven by a Subharmonic Pulse Core reactor, synced through BPM Sequencers, and directed by the Temporal Spine Core and T.A.T., allowing beat-based combat choreography and pre-conscious tactical execution

  • TAT (Temporal Acoustics Technology) enables CM58 to interpret sonic commands sent from the AeonDecks, translating beats into quantum commands. This means TimeMaster can literally DJ the mech’s next combo in real-time

  • Subharmonic Pulse Core acts as CM58’s energy reactor — using sub-bass to power massive limb strikes, anti-gravity steps, and shockwave generation. The deeper the bass, the harder CM58 hits

  • Temporal Spine Core is the AI logic hub of the mech — fusing TimeMaster’s neural intent with battlefield data. It processes tactical decisions before they're consciously made

  • BPM Sequencers determine CM58’s movement timing. The mech’s locomotion is rhythm-based, allowing it to fight in sync with music, memory patterns, or the beat of the enemy

  • Legacy Layering System (LLS) is the mech’s spiritual soul — compiling combat blueprints from every mech pilot or time-traveler before him. He fights with memories behind every punch

NostaQuads

Custom retrofitted quad-roller skates engineered for temporal agility

The NostaQuads are a personal project — not just a mode of movement, but an expression of nostalgia fused with scientific advancement. Their internal drive system uses inertial momentum cycling to generate temporal echos, letting TimeMaster move through multiple positions almost simultaneously.

Field Usage: Signature move NostaQuads Overdrive activates a 4-angle strike by leveraging momentum folds in spacetime. They're a reminder of who he used to be — and the speed he's grown into

Tech Integration: The NostaQuads are tuned with BPM Sequencers and Temporal Acoustics Technology (T.A.T.), while TSL (Temporal Stasis Layering) allows mid-movement time locks that flood the wearer with healing nostalgia, making memory itself a source of strength and precision

  • BPM Sequencers subtly regulate NostaQuads’ momentum cycles. Whether he’s dancing or dashing, the skates stay on-tempo with his body’s rhythm, enabling flicker-speed sidesteps and split-frame dodges

  • Temporal Acoustics Technology (TAT) listens for ambient sound — including the music of the battlefield — and lets the NostaQuads respond dynamically to changes in pitch, tempo, or vibration. In a loud environment, they become more reactive

  • While they don’t house a Subharmonic Pulse Core internally, they can borrow pulse energy remotely from the AeonDecks or CM58, giving TimeMaster short bursts of “bass-skate boosts” during key stunts

  • Temporal Stasis Layering (TSL) can briefly "lock" a position mid-skate, letting TimeMaster pause mid-air, rotate a full 360, then snap forward again — like a dancer frozen mid-spin, then released – while flooding the wearer's system with a wave of healing nostalgia, grounding him in the memory of who he once was

G A M E P L A Y   F E E L:

  • Plays With Time Like a Conductor – Every move is about manipulating time’s flow—speeding himself up, slowing enemies down, or even rewinding mistakes.

  • Unpredictable & Unstable – His abilities sometimes have unintended effects, reflecting the chaotic nature of time distortion. A player must embrace uncertainty to master him.

  • Temporal Energy Drain – The more he bends time, the faster his SP depletes. His best abilities require careful SP management, or he’ll collapse into a state of temporal exhaustion.

  • Momentum vs. Collapse – If used correctly, TimeMaster is unstoppable. But if he overuses his power or gets interrupted mid-flow, he can spiral into a cooldown-heavy, weakened state.

H P   R A T I O N A L E:

  • HP fluctuates based on his manipulation of time—he can extend his own survival but at a cost.

  • Moderate base HP, but his true durability depends on his time-warping mechanics.

  • Can "rewind" damage taken, but excessive use drains his SP, leaving him vulnerable.

  • Falls apart quickly if he mismanages his abilities—he's a character who survives through mastery of time rather than raw defense.

P L A Y S T Y L E:

  • Glass cannon control unit—incredible when managed well, but vulnerable if caught off-guard.

  • Precision-based, temporal manipulation & glass cannon strategist

  • Controls time itself, dictating the tempo of battle rather than reacting to it.

S P   R A T I O N A L E:

  • The highest SP pool in SLO, since his time-based abilities are energy-intensive.

  • He needs massive stamina to sustain time dilation, reversals, and acceleration effects.

  • His temporal powers make him a nightmare opponent, but once his SP runs out, he’s just a normal fighter.

  • If his SP runs out, he loses access to his most powerful abilities, making him extremely vulnerable.

  • Time manipulation is extremely SP-intensive, making resource management more important than raw strength.

  • Rewinding or fast-forwarding time consumes large chunks of SP, forcing him to pace his abilities.

  • Using the ChronoMech grants near-infinite possibilities, but misusing SP can leave him frozen in time.

C H A R A C T E R   L O R E:

  • Beyond Time, Beyond Limits – TimeMaster isn’t just a time traveler—he’s an architect of time itself, bending reality through quantum rhythms.

  • A Scientist in a Mystic’s World – Unlike the others who rely on ancestral power, physical might, or artistic resonance, TimeMaster is a pure intellectual, using alchemy and time-based equations to rewrite reality.

  • A Rebel Against Fate – He refuses to be bound by destiny, making him a wild card in the grand cosmic scheme.

G A M E   M E C H A N I C S   &   T H E M E:

  • Time Manipulation System – Players can speed up, rewind, or delay turns, allowing for insane strategic depth.

  • Glass Cannon Build – He has low HP but the highest SP, making him a high-risk, high-reward playstyle.

  • Rhythm-Based Time Effects – His abilities are tied to beats per minute (BPM), allowing players to sync combos to different tempos for extra damage.

  • Best for Advanced Players – Requires high skill and understanding of game mechanics to maximize.

Cultural Meaning:

To master time is to master presence and that’s what TimeMaster really does. TimeMaster isn’t called that because he controls clocks or timelines — he’s called TimeMaster because he refuses to let his work steal him from his family. In a society that defines manhood through sacrifice, grind, and distance, he does the unthinkable; by building a future that includes him in it — with his people, not apart from them. He’s an engineer, a fabricator, an innovator — but above all: he’s present. He doesn’t time travel to escape responsibility. He time travels to create more moments of connection. That’s the deeper flex — not bending time for power, but bending it for love. He is not a revolutionary because he discovered his heroes in a book. He is revolutionary because on several occasions, the only thing that stood between his mentally-abusive Great-Uncle Eshman and himself was his cutlass wielded to protect the rest of his family and he dared God to make him drop it. This is why the ChronoMech 58 doesn’t simply fight—it intervenes. It’s a declaration that “No more harm will come to mine." The ChronoMech is the physical manifestation of his mission: to safeguard his bloodline and extend that protection to chosen kin across eras. Being the only structure in SLO that can house all members across timelines, the CM58 is the ark of SLO's collective future. This mech is a house he can carry them in, making the ChronoMech 58 a home inside any type of battle, a lifeline across collapsing timelines and a promise made into armor. It is a moving structure that holds his entire team because he knows how often Black men are asked to carry others without support. Unlike other characters whose abilities reflect external power or inherited tradition, TimeMaster's mech is entirely self-engineered. Every inch of it reflects his need to protect those he loves when he's no longer there. It reflects his obsession with preservation, of not just bodies, but moments, ideas, and memories. It evens reflects his role as the Builder, the only SLO member who creates his own mythos instead of discovering one.

This awakening is existential more than anything. TimeMaster wrote his future, built the vehicle to carry it, and programmed its systems to outlast him. The CM58 is the physical embodiment of fatherhood, foresight, and fear of loss. He built a mech to safeguard his family in any possible future, making it a massive mech built not for war, but for preservation. The CM58 is a time capsule of protection, forged by a man who knows what it means to build with your hands, because it’s the only thing that ever gave your family a fighting chance. He’s not trying to be a superhero. He’s trying to make sure his kids one day don’t have to be. TimeMaster is proof that you don’t need to give up who you are to be seen as intelligent, advanced, or important. His presence says you can wear coveralls and still change the future – you can sound like home and still speak in equations – and you can weld by day and dream in quantum code by night. He is the equilibrium where refinery logic meets sci-fi ambition.

Inspired by the timeless role of the African Blacksmith, who in many cultures is the spiritual medium between worlds—the one who bends time, war, and material to protect the village—TimeMaster’s mech is his divine armor: a walking scrapyard of memories re-forged into a living archive of pain, purpose, and precision. TimeMaster is the antithesis of every stereotype hurled at Black tradesmen. He is proof that working with your hands is a form of genius — not a fallback. Crafted by TimeMaster’s own hands over decades of invention, spiritual grief, and mechanical discipline, the exosuit was crafted with precision, as worn down as it is, but restored again and again—just like TimeMaster himself. Using the sum total of his temporal research, ancestral memory, and quantum theory, the ChronoMech 58 is a forged testament to Black invention, generational resilience, and fatherly sacrifice. It is a tool that allows him to freeze trauma mid-action and re-engineer it into something useful. Thus, the CM58 symbolizes the tradesman’s burden in the Black family: fix the house, fix the heater, fix the family... even if you’re broken yourself. TimeMaster is that uncle who built the whole grill from scratch while everyone else was still sleeping. And he’ll feed you, too—while telling you you’re wasting your potential. For TimeMaster, being Caribbean surrounds the essence of survival. His awakening represents the awakening of every Caribbean elder forced into silence, into work, into wounds that couldn’t heal. TimeMaster is the reckoning that came after—the one who decided the chain would break with him. He embodies the Caribbean father who gets up early, smells like steel and sweat, and puts on that workwear not just to pay bills, but to protect dignity. He’s the man who fixes what’s broken — not because he has to, but because he knows no one else will. This is where working-class Black brilliance meets the divine instinct to prepare. TimeMaster is a builder, not because it’s glamorous — but because it’s the only language he was given as a child. Engines, tools, and welding sparks were his textbooks. Blueprints were his bedtime stories. Like many Black men raised in families tied to the trades — refinery work, mechanics, architecture, fabrication — TimeMaster saw how mastery of the physical world could offer a glimpse of stability. But he didn’t stop there. He refused to let the trades be seen as inferior to academia. He coded his blue-collar genius into quantum systems, folded grease-stained knowledge into time travel theory, and transformed mechanical labor into intergenerational shielding. He is a rebuke to a system that sees Caribbean tradesmen as expendable labor instead of innovators in disguise. The CM58 stands as a cultural heirloom — built from calloused hands, accented words, and sacrifices that don’t get written in history books.

TimeMaster is what happens when Caribbean tradesmen are allowed to dream. He’s what happens when we stop forcing Black men to choose between their work and their families. He is love, built into steel. Intelligence, forged through repetition. And above all — he is proof that we were always building the future. We just used tools you weren’t paying attention to.” This is for the ones who had to rig broken things to function because they couldn't afford replacements. This is for the men who learned to fix time because the world was always behind on seeing them right. This is for Black fathers who stay late at the shop, but still make time to help with their children’s homework. This is for immigrant men who wake before sunrise, so their kids don’t have to fight the same fights. This is for Caribbean tradesmen who don’t get PhDs, but pass down blueprints of their own design. It is a love letter to fathers who work with their hands. To the ones who protect their families even when no one’s watching. Every action he makes represents every project that started in the basement and ended up reshaping the future. The idea that hardworking Black men are "absent" is a dangerous lie. What people don’t see is the time they give up now to secure time later. TimeMaster isn't distant — he’s building the CM58 because he plans to be present in the hardest of battles.

Execution:

  • Everything in the mech is optimized not just for combat — but for balance, rhythm, and mental grounding. He’s not rushing toward destruction. He’s creating more time to return home.

  • Inside the cockpit are:

    • Holographic pictures of his family, projected mid-battle

    • Handwritten notes from his kids, pinned to his control panel

    • A voice assistant with a French-Canadian lilt, inspired by his mother’s way of calming him when stressed

  • He built the CM58 not just to save the timeline — but to save himself from the trap of being absent in his own life.

  • He works hard. But his time management is revolutionary. He schedules the future. He inventories his energy. He budgets his love.

  • Awakening into the CM58 reflects not power fantasy, but precision and preparation. It shows a man who’s planned every possible future—not to control it, but to guard his family’s safety in all of them.

  • In co-op play, other SLO members can board the CM58 mid-battle — each assigned a temporary role (pilot, artillery, data stream, shield ops) — making this a team awakening, not a solo move.

  • Once complete, the player gains:

    • Alternate control HUD (time-based cooldown wheels, warp dash instead of run, hover mobility)

    • Access to ChronoCores: preloaded tactical programs

  • Execution of attacks reflects a shift in genre — it goes from action-RPG to mecha simulator, changing the game’s tone entirely.

Audio/Visual Flair:

  • The moment is tense. Sirens scream in the distance, debris rains from above, and the city's timeflow is stuttering under the weight of multidimensional collapse. And yet—TimeMaster is calm. He exhales. He raises one wrist and presses a custom-built dial lined with micro-circuitry. With a low-frequency pulse, the CM58 ChronoMech responds.

  • First, the air shimmers. Then, the sound comes: a heavy, subharmonic thrum like tectonic plates shifting. The CM58 doesn’t fly in—it phases in, emerging from a fold in localized spacetime like it was pulled through a zipper in the sky. Streetlights flicker as its massive frame appears mid-air and lands in a crouch with a seismic THUD, causing parked cars to bounce on their suspensions. Dust and sparks spray from its feet as it touches down.

  • The chest cavity opens with a low hiss of pressurized air releasing and a deliberate clunk—hydraulics decompressing. TimeMaster sprints toward it like a man who’s done this a thousand times. He leaps, boots scraping the mech’s shin as he grabs onto the boarding rung. He climbs it with urgency but no panic. This isn’t fantasy—this is muscle memory, as precise as an operator mounting a lift before a day’s shift.

  • He slides into the cockpit. The harness swings down automatically—he catches it, locks it into place with a satisfying KLAK-KLAK. He pulls a side lever.

  • Hydraulics hum. Pressure equalizers hiss. Diagnostics begin. "Hydraulics—green. Pressure 210 psi. Turret joints—stable. BPM core—primed."

  • From overhead, analog dials flicker to life, accompanied by digital overlays rendered in glowing green. He flips three switches. Chunk—chk-CHK—WOOOOHM.

  • The cockpit vibrates as the Temporal Acoustics Tech spins up, letting out a glassy, rising hum like an accelerating vinyl record. Below that, the Subharmonic Pulse Core emits a low, almost musical drone—like deep bass reverberating through steel.

  • When the Legacy Layering System boots, it triggers cascading memory holograms of past battles, drifting like ghosts around the cockpit walls. TimeMaster taps a final code into a side panel: “Manual Pilot: ENGAGE.”

  • The entire mech stiffens. Outside, the CM58 rises to full height.

  • A symphony of sounds now spills out:

    • Servo joints locking with heavy metallic clacks

    • Temporal vents releasing bursts of hot mist

    • Power nodes crackling like thunder in the distance

    • Sequencer pads blinking to the BPM of TimeMaster’s heartbeat

  • And finally, the voice recognition system kicks in with a warm, familiar chime: “CM58 Manual Mode Engaged. Pilot: TIME—MASTER.”

  • Inside the cockpit, TimeMaster cracks his knuckles. The lights in the chest cavity dim to a soft amber. He adjusts his seat, lays his hands across the twin control pads, and smiles to himself, saying “Let’s punch a hole through time.”

Game Mechanics:

Lower SP Costs:

  • Lower SP cost because this isn’t improvisation — it’s premeditated design. He built these moves with intention, not adrenaline.

  • TimeMaster’s awakening uses stored time energy instead of draining SP rapidly. Once activated, the ChronoMech operates on delayed cost mechanics — SP is gradually drained over time or upon special maneuvers, allowing him to chain large-scale utility moves with less initial cost.

Longer Cooldowns:

  • Longer cooldowns because TimeMaster is never reactive — he works on cycles, not whims.

  • Due to the scale and weight of the Mech, moves take longer to recharge, especially high-impact abilities like teleport assists, Chrono Shields, or AoE time loops. The cooldowns reflect system reboot times, internal recalibrations, or overheating between usage.

Situational Activation:

  • ChronoMech 58 cannot be activated at will. It requires a team member to be critically injured, OR a defensive threshold to be crossed (e.g., base under siege, over 50% of team HP lost). It is reactive, not aggressive — built as a guardian system rather than a first-strike weapon.

Higher Direct HP Damage:

  • Moderate to High HP damage, not because he’s destructive, but because his strikes target pressure points in time — causing ripple effects.

  • TimeMaster’s awakening does significant HP damage, especially when swinging through timeline distortions or using heavy Chrono-Mech limbs. However, he sacrifices speed and DPS frequency for sheer impact. Every hit is slow but punishing.

Zone of Control Scaling:

  • In tech-based maps (urban areas, facilities), the CM58's power grows. This represents how inventors build better when surrounded by tools—the more he sees of the world’s systems, the better he bends them.

  • TimeMaster’s attacks become stronger the longer he holds the field. For every turn the ChronoMech remains deployed, his temporal resonance widens, increasing status effect resistance, damage mitigation for allies, and slow debuffs for enemies in a growing radius.

Locked Mobility / Predictability:

  • The mech is highly telegraphed. Once an action begins (like slamming, shifting time zones, or casting time loops), it can’t be canceled. This means players must pre-plan and telegraph intentions like chess.

No Combo Spam:

  • Most ChronoMech moves are single-use per loop. Meaning: no button mashers, no flashy cancel chains. You commit. You finish. You reset. It’s a tactician’s awakening, not a brawler’s.

Multi-Character Integration:

  • The ChronoMech allows up to five passengers to enter it mid-battle, triggering co-op abilities like combo ultimates, real-time fusions, and interdimensional healing pods based on their synergy level with TimeMaster.

Mech Synergy Gauge:

  • As TimeMaster protects or supports allies, he builds a "Legacy Pressure" meter—when full, it enables Chrono Lockdown, freezing enemies in a stasis bubble from a broken moment in time.

Environmental Domination:

  • In the ChronoMech, TimeMaster turns the map into his tool. He can manipulate terrain, reprogram arena rules, and collapse entire areas into closed time loops where only SLO members can move freely.

Heavy Support Role:

  • He’s not DPS-first—he’s about defense, recovery, positional control, and group upliftment. However, when he chooses to attack, each strike hits like generations of withheld rage—unrelenting, precise, and total.

Unique Awakening Trigger:

  • Unlike others, his Awakening can be activated in reaction to a teammate falling in battle. His grief powers the mech—meaning the loss of an SLO member doesn’t weaken the team, it empowers him to rewrite the outcome.

Time Unravel Ability:

  • The longer ChronoMech stays active, the more unstable the battlefield becomes for the enemy. Abilities glitch, cooldowns stretch, and eventually, enemy moves begin to regress into earlier, weaker versions.

Execution Lore:

  • TimeMaster doesn’t just manipulate time — he remixes it. With his custom turntable weapon, made from quantum-etched vinyl and analog circuitry, he spins the battle back like a scratched record. Each rewind isn't just mechanical — it remembers pain, remembers intention, and reverts reality like it was a bad mixtape.

  • TimeMaster scratches the flow of time like a record, rewinding movements to undo damage.

  • Spins his turntable weapon in reverse, restoring health and undoing enemy actions.

  • As he scratches time backward, phantom echoes of previous actions glitch back into view — fists fly in reverse, wounds un-split, bullets return to their barrels, and screams rewind into silence. He’s not healing you — he’s rewriting what happened. Think Donnie Darko meets Back to the Future 2, with deep emotional weight. When he rewinds, you feel the pain disappear in real-time.

Audio/Visual Flair:

 â€‹

  • TimeMaster whips out his cosmic turntable, spinning an oversized record etched with celestial glyphs and family photos (think visual memory track).

  • A reverse ripple effect blasts outward like a vinyl wave, pulling reality backward.

  • The battlefield gets tinted in a faded, sepia glow for a second, layered with rolling film countdowns and faint family VHS overlays — clips of laughing children, warm living rooms, fleeting joy, but distorted.

  • Enemy attacks literally reverse — slashes zip back into blades, fireballs return to their sources, etc.

  • Friendly characters get a glowing aura of warm plasma light, showing their bodies rewinding wounds.

  • Signature vinyl spinback followed by an echoing "CLACK-CLACK" of an old camcorder rewinding.

  • Soft piano loops reverse under TimeMaster’s breath, with bassy record pops.

  • Clock ticks slow into a droning analog hum, then snap back to real time like a record drop.

Execution Lore:

  • TimeMaster taps into his core frequency—a steady internal metronome born from years of building beats and dodging trauma. He initiates a quantum sound loop that suspends time within an invisible rhythmic pocket. For 3 turns, every move his allies make aligns perfectly with the “eternal drop”—a silent downbeat that accelerates their neural pathways and physical responses, creating an illusion of time dilation from the enemy's POV.

  • The loop isn’t digital nor mystic—it’s organic. Analog. Handcrafted and mechanical. Each cycle is built from vinyl warps, modular synths, and other studio equipment he engineered himself, humming with raw intent. His allies move like echoes of future versions of themselves, knowing what’s about to happen just as it's happening.

  • Time loops into an infinite rhythm, giving TimeMaster and allies boosted reflexes.

  • Locks the beat into a seamless groove, increasing attack speed and reaction time.

  • To enemies, it feels like fighting against dancers in a mirrored room where every step comes too fast, too fluid, too unpredictable. Their minds lag behind the beat.

Audio/Visual Flair:

  • TimeMaster raises his hand, and a glowing circular pulse grid appears beneath him and his allies—like concentric ripples from a dropped pebble, except these waves don’t fade… they stack. The battlefield shimmers as if submerged in a warm harmonic flux.

  • Thin blue-gold groove lines coil around each ally’s limbs like vinyl threading through reel-to-reels, syncing them into the loop. The background slows down just slightly for enemies, making allies seem impossibly fast in comparison.

  • A repeating synth arpeggio (like a broken metronome finding perfect time) underscores the moment. Each second beat thumps with a distant sub-bass, mimicking the heartbeat of a machine. TimeMaster’s voice modulates into harmony with the groove as he utters the phrase that unlocks it—“You feel that? That’s the tempo of truth.”

Technology: Chrono-Dial

  • The Chrono-Dial is a wrist-mounted temporal interface TimeMaster designed using discarded microwave parts, vintage reel-to-reel tape heads, magnetic coils, vinyl circuits, and raw cosmic dust he extracted from a meteor strike he witnessed as a kid. It’s powered by a small Time Core Reactor that burns compressed memories as fuel — literally time, harvested and refined.

  • Each dial turn doesn't just track time — it rewrites it.

  • By rotating the dial clockwise or counterclockwise, TimeMaster can:

  • Rewind a moment (like in “Reel Time Playback”)

  • Pause external time (“Temporal Lock”)

  • Accelerate local time loops (“Everlasting Groove”)

  • Scramble enemy chronology to disorient or debuff

  • Mark a timeline to return to in combat (for future attacks)

  • The device is partially synced to TimeMaster’s personal trauma cycles and heart rate, thus, no one else can use it without being ripped out of the current timeline. He made it personal on purpose — a lockbox of regret, survival, and design genius.

  • Appearance:

    • A retro-futuristic, analog-meets-digital device. Rusted brass and chrome. Vacuum tubes on one side, a rotating vinyl platter as the dial, LCD waveform indicators on the other. A retractable needle arm can drop onto enemies or time signatures to lock in temporal commands.

  • Sounds Like:

    • Glitches layered with lo-fi clicks, warped record scratches, reversed reverbs, and pitch-shifted echoes. Everything it does sounds like someone bending time through music.

  • The Chrono-Dial reflects TimeMaster's whole vibe — a man who fixes the world with what's broken, who understands pain like circuitry, and believes that if you can control the tempo, you can change someone's fate. It’s not just tech — it’s a father figure’s weapon, a mad scientist’s journal, and a DJ’s soul tool all at once.

Execution Lore:

  • TimeMaster isolates a singular enemy by syncing to the exact moment their timeline glitches—a stutter in their internal rhythm. With surgical finesse, he injects a counter-beat, one measured in silence, not sound. This counter-rhythm collapses the enemy’s time stream inward like a folding cassette tape—freezing them in looped stasis, locked into their last conscious movement.

  • Freezes enemy movement in a rhythmic stasis, rendering them immobile for a brief period.

  • Beats per minute dictate reality, locking targets into their last frame of action.

  • But here’s the twist—they’re aware. Trapped in a still frame while their mind continues at regular speed. They see every movement, every emotion around them, but can’t blink, flinch, or scream. It’s TimeMaster’s way of forcing reflection—a punishment, a lesson, or sometimes… just a warning.

  • He doesn't enjoy using it. He just knows some folks only learn when time stops giving second chances.

Audio/Visual Flair:

  • TimeMaster points his Chrono-Dial forward, and a high-pitched waveform snaps through the air, striking the target. Their body immediately tints monochrome, pixelating briefly before freezing in place mid-motion—eyes flicking, jaw locked, but soul screaming.

Behind them, a ghostly afterimage of their last few steps flickers on loop like a corrupted video clip. A soft pulse glows at their heart center, like a muted metronome that never drops.

  • TimeMaster whispers, “You ever feel time stop… and still feel everything?”
A bassline gets muted suddenly like someone hit STOP on a boombox, followed by a slow, ambient “clicking clock” rhythm that continues during the enemy’s paralysis phase—replacing music with tension.

Execution Lore:

  • Forces opponents to relive past mistakes, trapping them in a repeating cycle.

  • Triggers a time loop where enemies repeat their last move.

  • TimeMaster doesn’t just make you remember your past mistakes — he isolates the moment, slices it from the timeline, and forces you to live it again, but this time, with clear awareness of your failure.

  • With a snap of his fingers and a twist of the Chrono-Dial, the enemy’s last action is plucked from time like a skipping beat and looped right back at them. But this ain’t a clean loop — it’s distorted, decayed, and corrupted. They relive their misstep with increasing clarity and psychological weight, as if they knew they were being punished by their own karma.

  • In essence, this attack weaponizes guilt, ego, and momentum.

  • He created this move after watching his own uncle Eshman never apologize for his abuse — so TimeMaster found a way to make karma real, mechanical, and merciless.

Audio/Visual Flair:

  • The enemy is surrounded by stuttering ghost-images of themselves, jittering in a broken sequence like a scratched VHS frame or cracked film strip.

  • Each echo flickers with infrared timecode markings, as if their soul is being played back on an analog reel.

  • A single spotlight of frozen time surrounds them, casting looped shadows repeating their last action in reverse.

  • Their previous action is echoed back with pitch-warped delay, like a glitched tape loop.

  • TimeMaster’s voice plays underneath like a low-frequency subconscious narrator, whispering taunts to get under his enemies skin

Gadget: NostaQuads

  • The NostaQuads are TimeMaster’s custom-built, multidimensional roller skates, each wheel laced with temporal memories, groove-phase stabilizers, and fragments of nostalgic emotion. Think 1970s disco rink meets cyberpunk street tech — analog soul moving at digital velocity.

  • Each wheel is tuned to a different era of rhythm, spinning through:

    • 🟣 Breakbeat Past (childhood syncopation)

    • 🔵 Funk Present (his current frequency)

    • 🟠 House Future (what could be)

    • 🔴  Lost Loop (a moment that never happened… but feels like it did)

  • These aren’t just skates. They’re time-traveling rhythm machines strapped to his feet — built from the golden age of Black expression and modified with clockwork motors and echo-loop drives.

    • “I ride on memories they tried to erase.”

  • TimeMaster doesn’t use blades. He don’t need boots. He’s from the era of Soul Train lines, hardwood floors, and pure movement.

  • The NostaQuads aren't for violence — they’re for graceful domination. Every time they hit the floor, they tell a story.

    • “I made peace with the past… then strapped wheels on it.”

Execution Lore:

  • A quadruple-layered speed burst where TimeMaster moves faster than the eye can track.

  • TimeMaster phases through four different positions at once, striking from multiple angles.

  • TimeMaster activates the spin circuits on his skates, sending shockwaves of nostalgic rhythm through the battlefield. His skates blur into four versions of himself, each moving at hyperspeed across a different line of time.

  • In one beat, he’s sideways-skating down an invisible wall.

  • In the next, he’s twirling backward through the enemy’s blindspot.

  • He breaks space with rhythm — not violence.

  • Each strike lands like the chorus of a song you forgot you loved.

  • And when the final hit lands, he poses mid-spin, lights flickering under his wheels, sound warped like a DJ just pulled the record back.

Audio/Visual Flair:

  • TimeMaster splits into four roller-skating afterimages, each trailing glowing wheels—purple, gold, crimson, and teal.

  • His skates leave light trails shaped like soundwaves, bending space beneath them.

  • Impact visuals are stylized like graffiti tags hitting the screen on every strike.

  • Background briefly turns into a looping roller rink — like time itself is tryna party.

  • Starts with a cassette-tape rewind sound, followed by a fast-tempo boogie-funk bassline.

  • Every hit makes a classic skate-rink sound:

    “chk-chk-whoosh!”
    “thump-thump SNAP!”

  • Final hit echoes like a record scratch followed by crowd cheering through a delay effect.

Technology: The Subharmonic Pulse Core, powered by Temporal Acoustics Technology (TAT)

  • Hidden within CM58’s chest lies the Subharmonic Pulse Core, a quantum-frequency speaker derived from lost Afrofuturist civilizations who believed that sound was the language of gods.

  • Only by syncing with TimeMaster’s soul rhythm can the CM58 channel this weapon without shattering the pilot’s mind.

  • The Subharmonic Pulse Core is powered by a technological codec, called Temporal Acoustics Technology (TAT)

    • Developed by TimeMaster through dimensional research, T.A.T. allows sound to interface directly with spacetime. When broadcast through CM58’s core, it creates resonant fields that manipulate focus, balance, and memory without disrupting physical matter.

    • It’s not sound you hear, it’s sound that rewrites how you exist in the moment.

Execution Lore:

  • When TimeMaster ascends into the ChronoMech 58, he’s not just piloting a machine — he’s becoming the beat of time itself; which crowns him as it's master

  • CM58 amplifies temporal soundwaves into a shockwave attack.

  • “SoundSystem Overdrive” is the CM58’s auditory cannonade, unleashing hyper-compressed soundwaves tuned to temporal distortion frequencies. These aren’t normal bass drops — they’re calibrated echoes from the origin of sound itself, carried through wormholes and bent through tempo logic

  • When the ChronoMech 58 activates SoundSystem Overdrive, the battlefield becomes a controlled acoustic environment — not chaotic noise, but a weaponized waveform engineered to perfection.

  • Inside CM58’s chest lies a harmonic resonance engine, a technology so precise it manipulates the oscillations of time-space itself. TimeMaster doesn’t unleash noise — he broadcasts calculated, clean frequency bursts that destabilize enemy equilibrium and fray their coordination.

  • The CM58’s chest opens like a vault, revealing an ancient subwoofer core forged from extinct blackbox tech. When TimeMaster activates it, a sonic boom laced with chrono-pulses blasts out — not just shaking bones but disrupting the enemy’s sense of time, balance, and self.

  • The energy released isn't explosive in the traditional sense — it's a sonic lattice, invisible to the eye but overwhelming to the body. Enemies become temporal outliers, unable to stay synchronized with the flow of battle. Their reaction time lags, their movements misalign, and their intentions fall out of step with their bodies.

  • This is not chaos. This is precision-level warfare through pure, uncut resonance.

  • It’s not just loud, it’s primordial.

  • Frequencies from before time had memory.

Audio/Visual Flair:

  • The sky darkens and gets scanline distortions, like reality's fabric can’t handle what’s coming.

  • CM58’s chest cavity opens, revealing an arc-reactor-like pulse emitter, shaped like a tuning fork suspended in a gyroscopic ring.

  • Vibration lines ripple across the battlefield like a seismic sonar grid.

  • Starts with a deep, pure sine wave pulse — the kind that rattles organs without distorting the ear.

  • As the wave expands, it's layered with pristine harmonic overtones that resonate with the environment.

  • Every note is in phase — no chaos, no scratchy interference — just absolute tonal authority.

  • The air around CM58 ripples in symmetrical concentric patterns, like the battlefield just turned into a controlled test chamber.

  • The blast erupts in concentric rings of electric teal, ultraviolet, and pure white, as if time itself is glitching to the beat.

  • A thin shimmer of prismatic distortion floods the space in a mathematically perfect dome — not glitched, not jittered — clean, like reality is bending with grace.

  • The climax is silent to the ear, but felt as a pressure shift in the atmosphere, like entering a vacuum before impact.

  • Enemies are subtly pulled off-axis, swaying unnaturally like gravity itself has been overwritten.

  • No flickering, no grain — only hyperreal sharpness, clinical light diffusion, and controlled kinetic energy.

  • Enemy units shake violently, some literally desync from the screen momentarily before snapping back, disoriented and exposed.

  • The sound quickly escalates into a layered pulse of:

    • Polyrhythmic drum machine kicks

    • Reverse reverb snares

    • Vinyl scratches fused with time dilation hums

  • Final blast is a distorted 808 so loud it’s almost silent — that pressure-drop moment before your ears catch up.

  • You don't hear it all, you feel it in your atoms.

Technology: Interdimensional Phase Reactor (IPR)

  • The core of CM58’s “Parallel Shift” ability comes from its IPR Unit (Interdimensional Phase Reactor) — a dangerous and unstable prototype salvaged from a collapsed experiment involving synthetic consciousness loops.

  • TimeMaster, against all safety protocols (naturally), reverse-engineered it with four stabilizing gyros and one neural override key—his own mind.

  • Because of this, CM58 can “decide” which version of reality to exist in for tactical advantage.

  • But the cost? Every consecutive shift risks de-synchronizing with home timeline combat flow, weakening physical output due to reality bleed.

  • The IPR doesn’t just phase CM58 out of harm’s way — it gives it surgical access to alternate timelines that run parallel to the current one. Think of it like threading a needle through realities that are just out of sync with ours.

  • Instead of full-on multiversal travel like a portal jump (which would be unstable and catastrophic in combat), the IPR enables what TimeMaster calls:

  • "Slipstream Threading" – precise, short-distance jumps into “adjacent timelines,” which can be anywhere from milliseconds to full combat turns out of sync.

  • It gives CM58 multi-versal agility without multiversal chaos, as long as TimeMaster keeps his grip tight.

  • Within its Functionality:

    • CM58 can temporarily exist in alternate versions of this battle, where:

      • A projectile missed.

      • A different move was chosen.

      • A different CM58 design exists (tech variations from R&D that never got built in this timeline).

      • The enemy is weaker, slower, or never existed at all (used for mental manipulation or escape).

  • But with Constraints:

    • These universes are fractal-close — just slightly different branches. It’s not jumping to "Earth-94 where TimeMaster is a saxophone-playing beetle."

    • Long-term travel would destabilize CM58’s time core and fracture TimeMaster’s neural link—his mind would start splitting across infinite selves.

    • The IPR’s containment field only holds for short bursts (1-3 turns max) before feedback threatens to implode the mech’s chassis from timeline compression.

    • Every time CM58 enters another universe, TimeMaster and any passengers feel it — like dragging their soul through wet concrete made of memories that could’ve been. It’s physically painless, but mentally taxing; especially for TimeMaster, when he catches glimpses of alternate futures — some brighter, some tragic. He never talks about them.

      • TimeMaster once said; “The hardest part of skipping timelines… is seeing how good your life could’ve been if you’d just quit the mission.”

Execution Lore:

 â€‹

  • TimeMaster grips the control helm inside CM58’s cranial chamber, muttering, “Ain’t no version of me takin’ that hit.”

  • ChronoMech 58 activates its Interdimensional Phase Reactor (IPR), slipping between adjacent timelines where damage has not yet occurred — or never will.

  • Each shift aligns CM58 with a version of reality where the attack trajectory simply never hits, rendering it untouchable, not by dodging… but by literally being somewhere else.

  • With a low, pulsating hum, CM58’s parallax stabilizers and temporal mirrors bloom into motion. Its body flickers — not transparently — but as if alternate versions of itself are fighting simultaneously across fractured spacetime.

  • CM58 phases between different timelines, making itself untouchable.

  • As the mech begins shifting in and out of parallel timelines, enemies see multiple after-images blur and converge, each with slightly altered armor configs and color temps, hinting at infinite outcomes.

  • To them, CM58 becomes an unsolvable paradox: Which one is real? Which one can be hit?

  • If used consecutively, increases evasion but reduces attack power.

Audio/Visual Flair:

  • CM58 doesn't fade—it fractures and splits into slivers of itself mid-motion, like it’s in a broken prism of reality.

  • Deep subsonic pulsing as phase engines spin up — like something vibrating through reality itself.

  • There’s a momentary “shimmer” where time bends outward, creating ripple distortions as its form phases out of sync with the timeline.

  • A burst of crystalline time-reverb that echoes like a sonar ping through the timeline.

  • Bright teal-blue glints pulse across its body, especially on joints and visor panels, as if syncing alternate forms in nanosecond intervals.

  • A faint ticking underneath everything… not a clock, but more like the counting of outcomes being processed.

  • For a few frames, you see alternate versions of CM58 from future/past battles—battle-damaged versions, sleeker prototypes, or even old-school mechs peeking through before stabilizing.

Additional Effects:

  • Reactive Flashback Mode: If CM58 avoids a projectile or charge-type attack while in Parallel Shift, there's a 20% chance of replaying the enemy’s missed attack back at them, dealing 200 HP as "Chrono-Rebound" damage. (Damage type: Temporal Feedback)

Technology: Legacy Layering System (LLS)

  • A quantum-temporal feedback loop that records each battle CM58 is ever involved in—success or failure—and uses that data to simulate future strategies based on past experience across timelines.

Execution Lore:

  • The attack begins with CM58 locking its limbs mid-battle, entering a brief but powerful internal alignment phase called a Core Resonance Sync. Inside the cockpit, TimeMaster’s body twitches erratically, his muscles reacting to input from multiple timelines converging at once.

  • The lights inside the mech flicker to an ancient command pattern—not a glitch, but a pre-coded language known only to the original engineers of the CM-series, passed down like scripture.

  • Unleashes the wisdom of past warriors stored in CM58’s data core.

  • On-screen, four ghostly silhouettes appear behind him—flickering outlines of past CM58 pilots, each from a failed timeline or classified mission:

    • One moves like a capoeira dancer, agile and chaotic.

    • Another is brutal, military-precise.

    • A third is calm, evasive, purely defensive.

    • The fourth fights like a philosopher—every strike is timed with emotion.

  • They’re not visible to enemies—but their presence can be felt in the sudden change of CM58’s movements.

  • The CM58’s core isn’t just a fusion reactor—it’s a temporal archive, housing the battle instincts, neural patterns, and emotional imprints of warriors who piloted prototypes before TimeMaster. These aren’t simulations or A.I. ghosts. These are resonant echoes—digital phantoms of real combatants encoded through Chrono-Trace Echoes, permanently archived in the system.

  • When LEGACY PROTOCOL is activated, TimeMaster doesn’t just call for help— he synchronizes with these spectral blueprints, allowing them to co-pilot his body through CM58.

Audio/Visual Flair:

  • HUD shifts to a layered display—showing multiple timelines of movement overlays like motion blur, but perfectly aligned.

  • TimeMaster’s voice blends with the voices of the past pilots, speaking a single word in four overlapping tones:
    “Online.”

  • Background sound distorts into a hum of quantum chords—pure tone frequencies that feel emotionally ancient, like instruments played in a room before war.

  • CM58’s metal plating flickers with ghost sigils, symbols from long-lost squads etched in light across its frame.

Technology: Temporal Stasis Layering (TSL)

  • The TSL engine in CM58 works by referencing alternate-universe collision data, constantly running simulations of every potential incoming threat—from plasma to psychics—and begins canceling their timelines before impact.

  • This means the Barricade doesn’t react—it preempts.

  • Think of an armor that remembers the future and prepares for it.

  • [Aegis Bloom Dev Log #3 - Classified CM58 File]

    • As Temporal Armor Division Lead, Dr. Mae Akula explains, "We don't stop bullets. We stop the moment the bullet thinks it's real. Such as, you can activate a missile, however, CM58 activates the absence of that missile.”

Execution Lore:

  • Generates an indestructible time-shield that blocks all incoming damage.

  • Upon activation, CM58 digs its graviton-tipped anchors into the ground, stabilizing its posture through zero-point magnetogrid pulses. The chest cavity opens—not fully, but just enough to expose the Barricade Projector Core (BPC-9X), a spinning gyroscopic lens powered by Chrono-Plasma, a substance only found in fractured dimensions.

  • The moment the core pulses outward, time warps into a dome-like ripple, centered on CM58. Everything inside is under localized temporal arrest—a silence so absolute it almost hurts.

  • Hostile projectiles outside the dome? Frozen mid-air.

  • Close-range energy bursts? Snuffed like they never formed.

  • Even AoE attacks lose velocity before contact, as if they’re remembering not to happen.

  • Allied units within the dome don’t just benefit from the shield—they’re partially tuned into the temporal field, letting their own movement speeds compress into microbursts—giving them a slight edge without overwhelming their systems.

Audio/Visual Flair:

  • Upon activation, the entire battlefield soundscape dulls, replaced with a single harmonic frequency that feels like the ringing memory of a bell.

  • The Barricade Field appears as thin hexagonal panels, each one slightly phasing in and out of reality like future reflections of themselves.

  • CM58’s lights flicker into a silent, deep-blue diagnostic pattern, symbolizing absolute control over local spacetime.

  • From the outside, enemies see nothing but distortion—like watching reality breathe in reverse.

Applied Technology: Temporal Spine Core, powered by Temporal Acoustics Technology (TAT)

  • The Temporal Spine Core is the central routing system of CM58's Chrono-Conductive Frame. It interprets data not in binary, but in vibrational language—thanks to Temporal Acoustics Technology.

  • T.A.T. is the revolutionary tech codec integrated into CM58’s chest cavity, spinal housing, and cockpit shell. It functions by:

    1. Translating temporal phenomena into acoustic signals,

    2. Mapping those signals as vibrational patterns, and

    3. Using those patterns to influence time-based outcomes.

  • It’s not just time travel—it’s time modulation, controlled via sound design principles. That’s why CM58 doesn’t “teleport” like a sci-fi cliché—it orchestrates time.

  • Components:

    • Resonance Spinal Column: A lattice of hyperconductive fibers that resonates with cosmic background frequencies, allowing CM58 to “hear” the temporal signature of any moment.

    • Echo-Tactile Hull: The mech’s armor acts like an instrument body, translating vibrations into physical effects. This allows timeline shifts to occur without destabilizing the structure.

    • Omni-Chamber: Housed beneath the cockpit, this vacuum-isolated sphere contains the Chrono-Conductive Core (3T Glass + memory-metal coils), where T.A.T. frequencies are generated.

    • Temporal Keys: These are literal key-like switches controlled through pilot nerve commands. They strike tones that detune or synchronize the mech’s flow with the timeline it’s syncing to.

  • T.A.T. is the reason CM58 can:

    • Phase through time without tearing spacetime,

    • Play “temporal chords” (multiple outcomes stacked in harmonic resonance),

    • Create shield harmonics like Temporal Barricade, and

    • Trigger “FINAL REMIX”, where the mech performs a full Temporal Composition.

    • T.A.T. exploits the cosmic BPM, manipulating how time flows locally by syncing (or desyncing) with that rhythm. Think of it like DJing gravity waves… but with deadly precision.

    • Read timeline frequencies like soundtracks

    • Convert acoustic waveforms into timeline shifts

    • Compose temporal attacks as if remixing destiny

  • “FINAL REMIX” is only possible because T.A.T. reaches harmonic resonance with ALL timelines CM58 has ever touched. It requires:

    • Full Omni-Chamber ignition,

    • Pilot neuro-sync at 100%, and

    • ChronoPulse Conductor mode, where every part of the mech becomes a vibrating instrument, tuned to its own history.

  • That’s what scrubs reality—not a vinyl scratch, but a detuning of time’s harmonic field.

  • For Final Remix, the Spine Core doesn’t just react to TimeMaster’s inputs—it harmonizes with him, syncing his consciousness to every version of himself across existence.

  • The mech knows the pilot’s rhythm and time dances to their beat.

Execution Lore:

 â€‹â€‹

  • CM58 remixes the fabric of time, creating a battlefield-wide explosion of temporal energy

    • TimeMaster doesn’t just manipulate time. He conducts it

  • “FINAL REMIX” is his magnum opus—a temporal symphony-weapon that layers the past, present, and future of the entire battlefield into a single, collapsing crescendo of cause and effect

  • Inside CM58’s neural cockpit—an ephemeral throne of chrono-glass and neuron-laced conduits—TimeMaster fully syncs with the Integrated Pilot Resonance System (IPR Core). No joysticks. No HUD. Just total mind-fusion with the Mech’s dimensional processors

    • “No more time-travel. No more rewinds. Only the Remix.”

  • In the cockpit, TimeMaster triggers Legacy Key "Delta-58", igniting the Temporal Spine Core—a multi-chambered neural lattice network housed within CM58’s back column. This is powered by T.A.T. (Temporal Acoustics Technology), a system that translates cosmic vibrations into real-time temporal commands

  • CM58 begins to resonate—its armor humming like a struck tuning fork. Instead of vinyl scratches or tired time-glitch clichés, the mech pulses with metronomic crescendos, its joints articulating like orchestra conductors as the Temporal Spine Core feeds from harmonic wave sequences traced across multiple timelines

  • CM58’s limbs extend outward in a T-shaped crucifix stance, each joint emitting harmonic time-thread pulses. The mech’s Temporal Spine Core—hidden until now—unlocks like a reactor bloom, revealing the Omni-Clock Drive, a rotating planetary array of spinning rings, orbiting like musical spheres

  • Each ring is etched with timelines—some real, some possible, some never meant to be

  • Each pulse of the mech’s limbs bends time like musical phrasing: one arm rewinds entropy, another fast-forwards cause, the legs modulate inertia itself. Above the battlefield, fractals of alternate outcomes flicker like warped concert lights

  • And then—he begins the Remix

    • The left arm rewinds space itself: debris reassembles, shattered buildings return to form, old wounds reappear on enemies

    • The right arm fast-forwards entropy: metal rusts, armor ages and crumbles, enemies feel years pass in seconds

    • The legs lock into dimensional anchor-points, slicing through multiversal coordinates for final-stage acceleration

    • The head cockpit tilts downward, emitting a singular bass resonance, not a scratch but a tear in dimensional cloth, like the first sound at the birth of the universe

  • Then the Remix Wheel appears: a massive holographic turntable, spinning in front of CM58 like a god’s interface. But instead of music, it scrubs reality itself

  • He rewinds, fast-forwards, and scratches through reality, unleashing an inescapable final attack. However, this is more than an attack, it's post-history execution

  • Each “spin” of the wheel sends thousands of temporal echoes of CM58 out in every direction—

    • Some are versions of it from alternate pasts

    • Some are from unlived futures

    • Some are anti-timelines—where cause follows effect

    • They all strike at once

  • CM58 punches into the timestream, cycling through alternate versions of itself—war-battered, ancient, future-augmented, dream-born, all syncing together into a unified attack stance. The mech becomes a living composition: A symphony of selves

  • With a thunderous, harmonic discharge, CM58 detonates the ChronoPulse, a wave of pure temporal energy remixed across centuries. It's not an explosion—it’s a multi-era remix drop, so precise and powerful that reality itself stutters. The landscape bends. Enemy AI short-circuits just trying to comprehend the timeline logic

  • You don't just see the damage. You feel it resonate

Audio/Visual Flair:

  • The battlefield becomes a collapsing mosaic of time-frames—players see frame-flickers of alternate outcomes, parallel defeats, failed evasions, and repeating deaths layered on top of each other.

  • No scratching. Instead, a polyrhythmic blast of time-signatures, where each beat represents a different tempo of reality. You get staggered echo hits like:

    • Boom. Boom. BoomBoomBoom.

    • A silence.

    • Then the true attack drops like thunder crashing backward.

  • Enemies scream, not from pain, but from sensory confusion, as their consciousnesses flicker through their own timelines—unable to grasp where or when they are.

  • A soft choral harmony plays in the background—like ancient pilots whispering in harmony—one of the only remnants from the original builders of CM58, whose spirits live on in its Legacy Drive.
